Profile in Cowardice: Allah is Great! Die South Park Die!

In recent years, threats from Islamic extremists have resulted in murder of those simply depicting Mohammed (forbidden by Islamic tradition, although not unknown to Islamic culture).
From a prominent woman who fled Islamic death threats:
“‘South Park’ and the Informal Fatwa”
In a profile of cowardice, Comedy Central responded to a recent death threat by censoring the image of Mohammed on South Park
You can “piss Christ,” bash Buddha, mock the Pope, but humor is apparently not in the hadith.

And here is the image (censored) that Comedy Central now allows:
When Danish cartoonists published cartoons of Mohammed, Islamic extremists rampaged worldwide and killed 100 people. Those who published the cartoons in the “land of the free” (USA) lost their jobs or were forced to grovel with apologies. Others had to go into hiding.
Academics, of course, led the way by rotting out the foundations of any reasoned defense of a free and civil society.
“Hey, hey, ho, ho, Western Civ has got to go” was the chant during the culture wars. There isn’t much left of “Western Civ” or any civilization, unless it is Nihilism with cowardly fear (but not reverence) for Islam.
Case in point: Years ago, Yale University admitted “Yale Taliban”--the propaganda minister for the Taliban–despite the fact he had only a fourth-grade education. Then, when Yale University Press published a book on the cartoon controversy, they censored the images for fear of death threats.
Now it is another sniveling retreat in popular culture (South Park).
“Land of the free”? “Home of the brave?
More of the same.
Shame on you Comedy Central!

I posted several 13th-15th century, Islamic artists’ depictions of Mohammed on my blog here.

If a blind man were to create a religion that were to reflect his psychological problems like anger, paranoia, frustation, and wanting others to suffer like he is, would he not creat a religion like Islam that refuses to appreciate the beauty in one-half of God’s human creation by demanding that it be covered with yards of cloth rendering its beauty unrecognizable? I believe that Mohammed was an extremely bitter blind man who couldn’t stand the thought that other men could see a beautiful woman walk by while he could not. I think that is why he started acting like a prophet to get attention, and eventually passed on warped information to his Arabian followers. The Bible, Torah, and other religions and philosophies have much to say about following a blind man unless his sight has been healed. Muslims are blind being lead by the blind. Islam is full of contradictions in that it tries to see that it believes in the story of creation, all of the sayings of previous prophets, but it was created by a blind man who could not see nor write, and wanted women covered up so that their beauty could not be seen by other men. Mohammed lied about why he wanted women to cover up. It had nothing to do with God. God is proud of women. Mohammed wanted to level the playing field with other men. He wanted them to not be able to see women just like he could not. Nothing mystical about Islam or Mohammed.

Salama Aleykum
I am sorry if I offended you..but recently on of the NBA stars made a comment about one of his teammates that he is like a cancer on the team. This hit the all news channels and everyone was talking about it saying its being disrespectful and he was not to use the cancer word in describing his teammate. This was also disrespecting cancer patients, and I hope everyone agreed including you. I wonder now your are using blind people here talking about Islam. Don’t you be ashamed using the same God’s creation that you want to appreciate here as beauty. No want will know a family without spending time with them and asking questions about their way of living...so its like Islam, have you spend time with them, have you ask them questions or you like rumor mongerer with no implicit consciences...God knows everything he did in his creation...he separated water and land with reason, he created people with different dialogues, race and different ways of live and all be respected...sharing and living together is what makes God happy...But idk what your God think but my God (Allah) is God of love and peace. Inshallah!
