Oh yeah? Well what about Mickey Mouse? Has he voted before? Ha! I think not! Well, thanks to ACORN, he’s voting this year.

Mickey Mouse is a senior citizen. And I wouldn’t worry about his being registered. If he actually shows up, why not let him vote?

I’m taking part in a college radio (San Jose State U.) discussion on the ‘youth vote’ and the two candidates this Wednesday. I’ll have to mention this...

Not so fast.
How does Gallup get cell phone numbers? And how do they account for differences in the rate of participation of cell phone users in public-opinion surveys? If cell phone users would use up precious minutes by participating in a survey, they have lower incentives to participate in surveys. If they are phoned when they are not in the relative quiet and privacy of their own homes, they might tend to answer differently than land-line users, other things equal.

I second Carl’s comment. I’m a little sketchy about the results of this survey, and I wouldn’t be surprised if actual statistics are much different.

From the page linked to:
Interviews are conducted with respondents on land-line telephones (for respondents with a land-line telephone) and cellular phones (for respondents who are cell-phone only).
