Fred Singer on the BBC on Climategate and the Science Regarding Global Warming

Independent Institute Research Fellow S. Fred Singer was interviewed on the BBC regarding Climategate and the actual science regarding global warming. He debates with Robert T. Watson, former Chairman of the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and Professor of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia, from where all of the 4,000 scandalous, Climategate email and other documents originated. Professor Singer is author of the Institute’s book Hot Talk, Cold Science: Global Warming’s Unfinished Debate, co-author of New Perspectives in Climate Change: What the EPA Isn’t Telling Us, founding Director of the U. S. Weather Satellite Service, and Professor Emeritus of Environmental Sciences at the University of Virginia.

  1. Wow. While Dr. Singer did a great job, the most impressive part of that video to me was in how the host kept hammering away at Watson regarding the e-mail scandal and the need for CRU to pass it over for review. I couldn’t believe he worked for the BBC, they have generally been on board with the warming side from the beginning. Our own MSM continues to be missing in action on the whole scandal, but then it’s not really surprising when you find out they’ve been backing the whole enterprise for well over a decade. Link here.

  2. Refreshing to hear a genuine scientist like Dr. Singer expound on global warming. While Dr. Watson may have a significant background in science it’s clear his main focus is on “political” science.

  3. I have Dr. Singer’s book, “Unstoppable Global Warming – Every 1,500 Years”, and find that it addresses all necessary issues, and supplies believeable answers.

What we have is a battle between scientists who pursue information, and others (some claiming to be scientists) in pursuit of money and/or power! OwlGore, who doesn’t have a scientific bone in his body, is one of the latter, just like the IPCC and all related!
