168 Children

That is the estimated number of kids who have been killed by US drones in Pakistan, during a war whose purpose no one can clearly explain, much less justify. The Bush-Obama war on terrorism has been raging for nearly ten years now, and virtually none of it has anything to do with keeping Americans safe. Aside from destroying innocent lives, precious liberty, and trillions of dollars worth of property, it has surely multiplied the number of enemies of the United States. How would Americans feel if 168 of their children were killed by lethal robots flying through the sky, all directed by a foreign power claiming to be ridding the world of terrorism?

  1. I, for one, would be royally peeved. Then again, those of us who hold a libertarian perspective on events have enough sense to apply the golden rule to what our rapacious government is doing in our name under the guise of “national defense.”

It isn’t defense; it’s mass murder. Every living president (and most deceased ones) has engaged in the act of slaughtering innocent people to look tough on terror. It plays well at home for the rubes who imagine turbin-wearing fanatics under every bed and behind every tree. This twisted mindset assumes that invading the world will be necessary to prevent an American caliphate. What rubbish.

These people in Washington are sociopaths. They have no scruples and no conscience. For them, only power matters. The more power they have, the more enslaved we become. It is unbelievably depressing to watch this criminal gang literally destroying this once great nation.

  2. I’m right there with you Steve Hogan. The only bright spot is that their corrupt system is unsustainable and we may actually live through the end of it and come out on the other side to something better. Until then, buckle your seat belt. It’s going to be a very dangerous time for liberty minded people.

  3. I speak to fellow Christians about the atrocities of unconstitutional and unnecessary US foreign policy all the time, at every chance I get. It amazes me that my fellow disciples of the Prince of Peace have had their consciences so seared by their love of cheap oil that they take little or no interest in what we are doing around the world.
