Ah, More “Change”

Obama supports extending provisions of the Patriot Act that are about to expire. I know. Big surprise. He is also planning to bring back Combatant Status Review Tribunals, which were ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court as they were used at Guantanamo, and instate them at Bagram. He’s also invading other countries, in this case Somalia, without consulting the American people or Congress.

  1. The most depressing thing about libertarians is they’re always right! All the doom & gloom you predict always comes to pass. You guys were calling Obama out about this since day one. Can he keep the masses fooled long enough to get reelected? I think it’ll depend on whether the GOP puts up an even more militaristic warmonger (like Romney or Palin) than Obama.

  3. No, the most depressing thing about too many libertarians is that they will believe lying, sacks-of-garbage Democrats and vote for them thinking that anything is better than Republicans.

If libertarians ever put up a true libertarian candidate and then voted for him/her, we might make a difference. Instead, many libertarians voted for Obama thinking that he would end the war, legalize abortion and drugs, and work in a bi-partisan manner. He has not only done none of the above, he’s worked actively against them.

  4. It is a long, hard road to undue what a century of tyrannical expansion has done to this country. It seems that secession is our best chance, promulgated by peaceful withdrawal of our consent, in large enough numbers. Stop voting, stop sending your children to taxpayer schools, become self-sufficient, and partner up with like-minded folks. We are on the way to severe economic times regardless of what the government does. The only rules in their playbook tell them to make the economy worse. Demonstrations, protests and contacting your “representatives” is not going to work.
